1. The service
PixelToSTL provides a browser-based tool that converts images to 3D model files (STL, and 3MF/OBJ/GLB on Pro), plus optional AI-based photo-to-3D generation for Pro subscribers.
2. Your content and ownership
- You keep all rights to images you convert and to the models generated from them. We claim no ownership.
- You confirm you have the right to use every image you convert. Don't convert logos, characters, artwork or photos of people you don't have permission to use.
- You are responsible for how you use and distribute the resulting files and prints.
3. Free plan licence
The free converter may be used for personal, non-commercial projects, such as gifts, home decor, education and prototypes. No attribution is required.
4. Pro commercial licence
An active Pro subscription grants a commercial licence: you may sell physical prints and sell or distribute the STL/3MF files you create (for example on Etsy, Printables or MakerWorld), provided you hold the rights to the source image. Files created while subscribed remain licensed for commercial use after you cancel. AI-generated models are also subject to the licence terms of the underlying model provider, which permit commercial use.
5. Subscriptions, credits and refunds
- Pro renews monthly or yearly until cancelled. Cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Monthly AI credits reset each billing month and don't roll over. Purchased top-up credits don't expire while your subscription is active.
- If a paid feature doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the service for illegal content, weapons or weapon parts, infringing material, or to overload or attack the service. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse it.
7. No warranty for prints
Models are provided "as is". Printing results depend on your printer, material and settings, and we're not liable for failed prints, material costs or damage. Don't use generated models for safety-critical, medical or load-bearing parts without independent engineering checks.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
