About PixelToSTL

PixelToSTL started because converting a simple logo into a printable STL shouldn't mean uploading your photos to a random server, wading through ads or buying credits for a heightmap.

What we believe

• Private by default. The free converter runs in your browser. Your images stay on your device.
• Print-ready, not just "converted". Every STL is watertight, sized in millimetres and has a proper base.
• Honest about limits. A PNG has no depth. Free conversions make reliefs; true 3D from a photo needs AI, and we say so.
• Free stays free. Pro pays for the features that need GPUs and extra work.

How we test

Written and test-printed by the PixelToSTL maker team on Bambu Lab A1 and Prusa MK4 printers. Recommended settings on this site come from those test prints with 0.4 mm nozzles in PLA.
